Anatomical 3D animations about the structure of skeletal muscles: Muscle fibers, myofibrils, sarcomeres, myofilaments actin and myosin. As the actin and myosin myofilaments slide into each other, the sarcomeres shorten (contract) and thus the entire myofibril or muscle.
