Memory T cell

Description

Illustration of a memory T cell on a white background. These cells of the immune system belong to the subgroup of T cells (T lymphocytes) and have not yet been conclusively proven scientifically. They improve protection against re-infection with a pathogen known to the immune system by contributing to a faster and more efficient immune response (adaptive immune response).
