Poliovirus – dark


Free illustration of a poliovirus on a dark background. The poliovirus causes poliomyelitis, also known as polio, in humans. This disease affects motor neurons and can lead to permanent paralysis, often of the extremities.

The illustration was designed in the style of a surface model with an ligament model and is based on structural data from Filman, D.J., Hogle, J.M.
