Posterior cruciate ligament – PCL

Description

Free illustration of the anatomy of the posterior cruciate ligament of a right human knee in a posterior (dorsal) view. The posterior cruciate ligament connects the femur to the tibia and prevents the tibia from moving too far posteriorly in relation to the femur.
The distance from femur to tibia/fibula has been increased in the picture for better visibility of the structures.
