Design of two illustrations for a treatment of varices using a special laser fiber. In this, the fiber is surrounded by a plastic cover. Liquid can be introduced into the vein between the sheath and the fiber, which leads to straightening of convoluted blood vessels and thus makes it easier to insert the laser fiber.
