Design of illustrations from different perspectives on the origin and insertion of different muscles in the knee area (left knee). The attachment points on the bone were color coded differently for origin and attachment (red + blue). If interested, the images can be used in our “free images” section in low resolution under Creative Commons license or licensed through our Gumroad store.
In addition to the images, a webGL application was created based on the 3D model of the knee. In this application the knee is rotatable, the individual insertion points are marked and on click the name of the muscle is displayed.
