Visualization of the mode of action of the wound dressing “HydroTac transparent” in the form of 3 illustrations and a 3D animation.

The animation shows a wound on the leg to which the HydroTac transparent wound dressing is applied. A sectional view shows the Ringer’s solution contained in the wound dressing and exudate in the wound. The Ringer’s solution is released into the wound and moisturizes it. In turn, exudate is absorbed. An ideal wound climate creates growth factors in the wound, which accelerate the healing process.

The illustrations show the process in three steps: Absorption of exudate in the wound dressing and release of Ringer’s solution into the wound bed, formation of growth factors in the wound and wound healing.
