An asthma inhaler is a medical device used to treat asthma. There are two types of asthma inhalers: metered dose inhalers and dry powder inhalers.

The animation shows an inhaler in which a fixed amount of active ingredients is released from the reservoir by pressing the red button at the end of the device. By strong inhalation, the active ingredients are now swirled and thus reach the lungs as fine particles.

The focus of the animation was to show the design of the device, which ensures exact dosing of the active ingredients and their atomization when inhaled.
