3D animation on the causes of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and asthma. In COPD, the lower airways are constricted and chronically inflamed, whereas in asthma there is only inflammation and it occurs mainly in attacks. While asthma can be controlled with medication, only the symptoms of COPD can be treated.
